New Oregon Facility Opening

Morgantown, Pennsylvania, USA – Morgan Corporation, the industry leader in the innovative design and production of quality truck bodies for more than 60 years, announces the opening of a new manufacturing facility in Portland, Oregon, expanding the company’s number of manufacturing, parts and service centers to 12 nationwide, it was announced today.

In making the announcement, Norb Markert, President stated, “For the first time, Morgan customers throughout the U.S. Northwest Region and Western Canada will have faster access to quality Morgan products, and with the added benefit of lower shipping costs.”

The new building is located on 5 acres of land and incorporates approximately 50,000 ft2 of manufacturing, distribution, and administrative space.

Norb Markert added that even though the new facility was initially intended to produce Morgan Dry Freight products, plans are already underway to expand to other Morgan product lines. “This new facility expands Morgan Corporation’s planned growth into a strategic part of North America, where Morgan products and services are much in demand, and where that demand is anticipated to grow,” Mr. Markert said.
