New Mounting Station in KC

January 20th, 2014 by Morgan Marketing

Morgan Corporation is proud to announce the opening of its Kansas City Mounting Station!

In cooperation with well-known, locally-based Contract Trailer Service, Inc., Morgan is making it easier and more affordable to mount the “Best Body in the Business” to the chassis of your choice!

Opening a mounting station in what is essentially the geographic center of the United States simply makes good business sense for Morgan, and for our customers. Customers can have the Dry Freight, Refrigerated or Stake & Platform bodies of their choice mounted, without the logistical challenges and expense of shipping the chassis to one of our production facilities. That adds up to easier access, faster turnaround and dramatically lower costs for our customers.”

Gene Ayres, Morgan Corporation Vice-President of Sales & Marketing

In fact, Morgan’s new facility creates two great ways to get FREE freight for customers in the Kansas City market. As Ayres explains it – “The first option is to drop ship your chassis to the Kansas City Mounting Station, while Morgan’s Janesville, Wisconsin facility manufactures and flatbed-ships the body in – at no charge – for finish-mounting. The second option is for Kansas City customers to ship their chassis to the Janesville facility for mounting, and free return-shipping. Free mounting, free shipping – what’s not to like about that?!”

Morgan’s investment in the Kansas City facility is based in large part on customer input, and an ongoing effort to ensure customer satisfaction. Commenting on the rationale behind the new facility, Ayres had this to say – “Morgan has been the industry leader for over 60 years, and in all that time we’ve learned a few things. One of the most important lessons has been that a satisfied customer is a repeat customer, and that’s good for business! It makes sense to listen to your customers. And we’ll keep listening!”

Morgan’s Kansas City facility is located at 47 Kansas Avenue, Kansas City. For more information, please contact Dennis Rehrer at 484-706-1505.
