New GM Bailment Pool Locations

Morgantown, Pennsylvania – Morgan Truck Body, LLC, North America’s premier designer and producer of light and medium-duty truck and van bodies announces that it has reached an agreement with General Motors Fleet to increase the number of bailment pool locations. This will allow Morgan to more swiftly meet growing demands for upfitted Chevrolet Low Cab Forwards, the new Chevrolet Silverado 4500HD/5500HD/6500HD as well as the Chevrolet Express and GMC Savanna.

Currently, Morgan upfits bodies on GM chassis at two plant locations: Riverside, California, (since 2006), and Denver, Pennsylvania, (since 2013).The newest Morgan plant to order these chassis cabs is in Portland, Oregon; with additional pools opening this year in Corsicana, Texas (June) as well as Rydal, Georgia and Janesville, Wisconsin (August).

“We are very excited for this expanded agreement with GM Fleet” stated Tim Stallings, Morgan’s Director of OEMs and Bailment. “To increase the availability of commercial trucks to their dealers in the Pacific Northwest will greatly benefit Morgan, the GM dealers, and our mutual customers. Morgan will be stocking all models of the Chevrolet Low Cab Forward, the Chevrolet Silverado medium-duty chassis, and Chevrolet Express and GMC Savanna. Morgan will be offering our City Max parcel van, Mini Mover Pro, ProStake platform body, solid-side LandscaperPro, as well as our dry freight and refrigeration van bodies”
